A quick and easy method to prepare a Chocolate Bread / Loaf Cake. You can enjoy this with some whipped cream and strawberries by the side that may just augment its taste.
Quick Chocolate Bread (Chocolate Loaf Cake)

- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Unsweetened cocoa
- 2 nos Large eggs
- ¾ cup Milk
- ½ cup Unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
- ¼ cup Walnut
- ½ cup Brown sugar
- ¼ cup White granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease and place a parchment paper on a loaf tin.
- Sift the cocoa, flour, brown and white sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. Mix well and then set aside.
- In a separate bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla and mix well.
- Make a dimple in the center of the dry ingredients and add the mixture in step 3 above. Fold and combine with a spatula.
- Add few chopped walnuts.
- Tip the batter into the greased loan tin, level the top and scatter over some rolled oats and walnuts.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with just a crumb or two.
- Serve and enjoy with some whipped cream and strawberries!
